Snapdragon Pro Series goes global after a new partership with MOONTON Games

MOONTON Games joins forces with the Snapdragon Pro Series to bring us even more Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournaments in multiple regions.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang continues to grow into the global space in 2024, having already confirmed that MSC will bring in teams from around the world with the Esports World Cup partnership. Today, another announcement was made – this time involving the Snapdragon Pro Series and a new partnership with MOONTON Games as they expand the competitive ecosystem of the game beyond all expectations.

Confirmed today, the Snapdragon Pro Series will be heading into new regions, namely Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Africa – and, in Southeast Asia, we will also see a brand-new women’s league beginning. Ray NG, Head of the Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games had the following to say on the new partnership,

With MLBB Esports having already begun taking root in the mainstream, our focus is on expanding our ecosystem to be even more inclusive and accessible. We're delighted to team up with Snapdragon Pro Series again to offer the international MLBB community even more opportunities to watch, compete, and celebrate their passion for the game.”

The partnership will see a total of $780,000 in prize pool money added to the events in total, with the Mobile Masters title becoming a feature for Year 3 of the Snapdragon Pro Series. The Mobile Masters will be a year-long event, with multiple competitions forming a part of it, including the M6 World Championship and the Mid-Season Cup (MSC), as well as the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI).

Sam Braithwaite, VP of Game Ecosystems, Mobile, ESL FACEIT Group said the following about the new venture,

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has been a global leader in mobile competition. Alongside MOONTON Games and Qualcomm Technologies, we’re looking forward to delivering more ways to play MLBB through the Snapdragon Pro Series and our new inclusivity initiatives.”

After a spectacular 2023, which saw millions tune in across the globe to witness mobile gaming at its finest, MLBB is looking to go above and beyond in 2024. The Snapdragon Pro Series will begin in the Asia Pacific region on April 8, with Europe, MENA, and Latin America to follow soon after. We look forward to seeing this expansion of MLBB and what the international teams can bring to the Land of Dawn in 2024.
