The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II are getting bundled together
Naughty Dog, developer of Uncharted, Crash Bandicoot, and Jak and Daxter, has announced that it's most recent franchise The Last of Us is getting bundled together as a two-game package. The bundle is titled The Last of Us Complete, and it includes the 2022 remake The Last of Us Part I and the 2024 remaster The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
The Last of Us Complete’s official description reads:
“Experience the complete story that inspired the TV show with definitive versions of two award-winning games, featuring graphical and gameplay improvements made possible by the PlayStation 5 console.”
Players who haven’t checked out two game’s re-releases might find this bundle worthwhile, as it includes both a remake and a remaster each. The remake of The Last of Us includes the Ellie-starring Left Behind story expansion, while the remaster of The Last of Us Part II includes the recently-added No Return roguelike mode, as well as Lost Levels which dive into cut content from the game.
This is also a handy version to catch up on the sequel’s events before HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 lands, adapting the story of The Last of Us Part II. Season 3 has also been confirmed for the series, adapting the rest of the game. A fourth season to wrap up Ellie’s story is also reportedly possible.
The Last of Us Complete is also getting a physical Collector’s Edition on 10 June, 2025, for a hefty US $109.99. The physical version will include a steelbook case for its multiple game discs, all four issues of the previously-released graphic novel series The Last of Us: American Dreams, four lithographic art prints, and a personal thank-you note from game director Neil Druckmann.
