Mara Aquino announced her switch to Honor of Kings as the host for the inaugural season of the Philippines Kings League.
Renowned esports and entertainment host Mara Aquino will now be hosting Honor of Kings for the inaugural season of the Philippines Kings League (PKL). Her arrival was announced in a video posted on the official Honor of Kings Philippines social media accounts, with the video even depicting Mara as the queen that the Honor of Kings scene has long been waiting for.
The announcement was an instant hit with over 5,900 reactions and over 1,600 shares, proving Mara as one of the hottest talents in the Philippine esports scene. Mara also shared her excitement on her account:

Mara was previously synonymous with the Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) scene, having hosted multiple seasons of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines and other international MLBB esports events. However, after hosting MPL Philippines for seven years straight, she departed from the scene after the conclusion of MPL Philippines Season 14.
After her departure, she took a short break from hosting esports events while also taking the role of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup host.
The PKL will start on Friday (11 April) with Mara Aquino as their host. The league will feature high-profile teams such as Blacklist International, BOOM Esports, and Team Flash battling for a spot in the Honor of Kings World Cup 2025 in the Esports World Cup 2025.
The pinnacle league of the Philippine Honor of Kings scene will take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The opening match of the league will feature Rough World Era Kadiliman going to face Elevate. Elevate will also end the week, with Team Flash PH as their opponent.
