Genshin Impact has revealed new perks and features in its recent Developers Discussion.
Genshin Impact has been on a roll with making its gaming experience easier and more convenient for its dedicated fanbase. As such, developer HoyoVerse has promised major quality-of-life updates and other improvements for the upcoming version 5.1 update!
Here’s everything discussed in the recent Developers Discussion.
Skip floors in the Spiral Abyss
For veteran Genshin Impact players, taking on The Spiral Abyss endgame content can get to be quite a chore. Floors 9 to 12 seemed like a challenge in their own right, but much of the difficulty is actually concentrated on the last floor. It’s no secret that repeatedly going through floors 9 to 11 every reset can be quite taxing.
Luckily, Genshin Impact devs are now implementing a Skip Feature!
To be able to use this new feature, players must meet the following conditions:
- Cleared Floor 12 with full stars in the previous phase to start from Floor 11 in the current phase, or
- Cleared Floor 11 with full stars in the previous phase to start from Floor 10 in the current phase.
All Chamber Bounties for the skipped floors will be directly claimed via the review pop-up screen, but the Primogem rewards from Stars’ Bounty will still need to be claimed manually.
Continuing off of Abyss QoL updates, specific rewards like the Artifact Chests you can get from Chamber Bounties can now be opened via Quick Use instead of one by one!
Limited-time area exploration rewards
To celebrate combing through the entirety of Natlan for 100% exploration, and for future area explorations in upcoming versions, there will now be limited-time area exploration rewards!
So besides scrounging up every Primogem in every chest you can find, you’ll also be rewarded with a whopping 400 Primogems when meeting certain exploration requirements in every region available.
The rewards you get will only be claimable for 2 versions.
Other QoL and UI updates
Besides the Skip Feature and limited-time area exploration rewards, Genshin Impact will also implement an optimised character building experience in the upcoming version 5.1 update. These optimisations will include:
- An Enhancement Progression Calculator for the Crafting Bench
- Sorting for Trounce Domain Interface from newest to oldest
- Adventurer Handbook display page will open to the Commissions Tab if all content in the Experience Tab has been completed
- Custom Artifact Filtering for characters, which will allow you to create custom Artifact Filter plans for individual characters that’s also recorded by the system
Genshin Impact version 5.1 will be released on the 16th of October. More details to follow!
