Capcom has unveiled four more DLC fighters for Street Fighter 6.
Capcom has officially unveiled Street Fighter 6’s Year 2 DLC character roster, consisting of four additional playable fighters. The roster also includes Street Fighter’s first-ever guest characters: Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from the Fatal Fury series. The remaining two DLC fighters are M. Bison and Elena, returning characters from previous Street Fighter games.
Here’s the Year 2 DLC trailer:
Street Fighter 6 Year 2 DLC brings in guest characters from Fatal Fury
Capcom has historically never messed around with guest characters for its Street Fighter game franchise, but it looks like that’s about to change. The developer’s Year 2 roster of DLC fighters for Street Fighter 6 consists of Terry and Mai from SNK’s Fatal Fury fighting game series along with M. Bison and Elena. Here’s how Capcom describes each fighter:
- M. Bison (summer 2024) – First appearing as a playable character in Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, returns! Prepare yourself for an infusion of evil as the iconic and Psycho-Powered Shadaloo crime syndicate leader continues his unending quest for world domination.
- Terry Bogard (fall 2024) – The long-time Fatal Fury veteran joins the fight in Year 2 alongside his iconic casual look! The skilled street fighter takes his friendly attitude straight into battle to find the true meaning of strength.
- Mai Shiranui (winter 2025) – Let’s also welcome Mai, the second crossover fighter from the Fatal Fury series, to the growing Street Fighter 6 roster! As a highly-skilled Shiranui-ryuu Kunoichi, Mai brings her deadly power to the game in Year 2!
- Elena (spring 2025) – Last seen in Street Fighter IV, the cheery Capoeira fighter Elena hits the streets as the final Year 2 character! Listen to the wind as you travel the world defeating opponents with Elena’s light-footed, dance-like moves.
It looks like M. Bison will be the first Year 2 character to hit Street Fighter 6, arriving sometime this summer. The rest of the characters will slowly be rolled out over the next year, after which we’ll presumably get a third year of DLC for the game.
