With VALORANT’s off-season, fans are craving for some esports action. We got you covered. Here are this week’s must-watch tournaments.
VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Game Changers - East Asia
The last golden ticket to the VCT Game Changers Championship is up for grabs. Eight teams from East Asia are vying to take the final spot in the biggest event for women in VALORANT’s esports scene.
The top 8 includes Attacking Soul Esports Girls, ZETA DIVISION GC, Chao Hui EDward Gaming, Nuclear GC, CVA, FENNEL Female, Chosen Clique Gaming GC, and DetonatioN FocusMe GC. They kicked off the playoffs today.
The tournament will run until October 29th. The winning team will have almost one month to prepare before the VCT Game Changers Championship starts on November 28th.
Game Changers was first launched in February 2021 as Riot’s initiative to create top-tier competitions for women within esports. It offers a new pathway for aspiring female professional players to pursue a career in gaming.
VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 2: Selection
You are in for a treat at China Evolution Series Act 2: Selection. Watch some Chinese VALORANT action from your favorite teams.
The group stage has concluded and only four teams survived namely Attacking Soul Esports, Trace Esports, EDward Gaming, and Rare Atom.
Attacking Soul Esports and EDward Gaming came out on top of their respective groups without a scratch. The teams gained a guaranteed slot in VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 3: Heritability which will start in November.
Attacking Soul will face Trace Esports while EDward Gaming will go against Rare Atom on the first day. The playoffs will start on October 26 in a Double Elimination format.
The Grand Finals will be on October 29 and the winner will take home ¥100,000.
