ONIC Philippines were crowned as champions of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025 after defeating Indonesian team
RRQ Hoshi in the grand finals on Sunday (13 April). The M6 world champions proved once again that they were the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team in the world after a stunning 4-1 victory over the best team from Indonesia right now.
As the champions of ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025, ONIC Philippines took home the US$80,000 grand prize out of the tournament's US$200,000 prize pool.
ONIC Philippines drew first blood in the grand finals against RRQ Hoshi with an impressive display on Suyou by King “K1ngkong” Perez, taking the win after a back-and-forth affair. However, the second game was all about the King of Kings. RRQ Hoshi had their grip on the game right from the get-go, locking down the ONIC Philippines jungler and not letting his Hayabusa take over the game. Ultimately, the second game was won by RRQ Hoshi.
While the fans expected a heated confrontation in the grand finals, ONIC Philippines turned out to have other plans. Seemingly awakened by their game two loss, ONIC Philippines dominated the series' third and fourth games as Duane “Kelra” Pillas once again proved why he was the Gold Standard. He did not concede a single death in either game and received the MVP awards for those games.
With their backs against the ropes in game five, RRQ Hoshi looked to prolong their stay in the competition as they brought out every gun in their arsenal and pressured ONIC Philippines in the early to mid game. However, the Filipino team persevered and struck back with one beautiful sweep on the last Lord fight to secure 4-1 grand finals victory.
ONIC Philippines will continue their journey in the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 15 after their victory in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025.
