Juv3nile faces a 12-month suspension from Riot Games for violating VALORANT's Global Code of Conduct.
VALORANT developer Riot Games has suspended Global Esports head coach Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon from all Riot-sanctioned esports competition for 12 months. The suspension was announced through the official VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific social media accounts, where it was revealed that Juv3nile's suspension came after Riot was made aware of the coach potentially breaching the VALORANT Global Code of Conduct.
While Riot did not reveal the exact reasons behind Juv3nile's suspension, allegations that the coach had been sending inappropriate messages to various women through social media had surfaced in the days leading up to the suspension.
Juv3nile will be suspended from all Riot-sanctioned esports competitions for 12 months starting today (4 April) and will be required to complete an executive training focused on conduct, respect, and professionalism. Furthermore, a detailed competitive ruling will be published in the Rulings section at competitiveops.riotgames.com in due course.
RIot Games further reiterates that esports professionals under their affiliated teams play an important role in representing the sport to the community. This makes Riot Games hold their players and coaches to a high professional standard both on and off the stage.
Prior to being the head coach of Global Esports, Juv3nile successfully guided Leviatán to the championship of VCT 2024: Americas Stage 2 and third place at VALORANT Champions 2024.
Juv3nile was made head coach of Global Esports on 31 October, replacing Peter "Spin" Bradford after the latter resigned from the team in July 2024. Juv3nile has only competed in one Riot-sanctioned tournament with Global Esports before his suspension: VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff, where the team finished 9th-12th and failed to qualify for VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025.
Global Esports said in a statement that they fully support and respect Riot's decision to suspend their VALORANT head coach.
“We respect and support Riot’s decision fully. At Global Esports, we believe that accountability and integrity are non-negotiable. No matter how difficult or unfortunate a situation may be, the standards of conduct and professionalism — both inside and outside the game — must be upheld at all times, by coaches, staff, and players,” said Global Esports.
“Everyone associated with Global Esports and Riot’s ecosystem is expected to meet the highest ethical standards. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all aspects of our organization and the VALORANT Champions Tour. We are working internally to ensure the team remains supported during this time.”
Juvenile suspension will end on 4 April 2026, as it stands.
