Predictions

In order to help you get a better understanding of the teams participating, we have listed the favourites and challengers for today:

Favorites:

1. Creation eSports

With the absence of Rogue, Creation is the highest placed team playing today. They are #2 in EU and #4 worldwide, and have only lost to misfits in recent history. They won their last match against Misfits however, which is why we rank them as the top favourite.

2. Misfits

Ever since being picked up, Misfits has been performing magnificently. They quickly climbed to the top 5 on our rankings, and won 86% of their matches in June. They were on a great winstreak, over 20 matches won in a row, but that ended recently against Creation eSports in a close 1-2 match. The difference with CE is minimal however, and it really will depend on the shape of the day.

Challengers:

1. REUNITED

A few days ago we reported on the surprising departure of TwoEasy from REUNITED. One of the most stable rosters in Overwatch's short history lost one of their founding members. It's good to see REUNITED is already competing again, this time with (trial?) Shadez, who until recently played for Northern Gaming Blue. With most of the teamwork still intact, and with Shadez being a solid player, REUNITED should still be considered a threat for the top 2. But they will have to prove it.

2. SG-1

SG-1 is one of those teams that has been at the cusp of breaking through for a while now. But they have been lacking that final x-factor to really make the top teams struggle. It's good to see they are still working as hard, and competing as much, as they have since the start of the beta. Depending on how the bracket turns out, they can either get an easy way to the Semi-Finals, or underperform once again.
