Three teams from Group B followed ONIC PH, Team Liquid ID, and Bigetron Alpha to the Playoffs of ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025.
RRQ Hoshi,
Team Falcons PH, and
ONIC have qualified for ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025 after the conclusion of the Group Stage on Wednesday (9 April). They bested
Aurora Türkiye,
Alpha7 Esports, and
Team Falcons in their groups to qualify for the next stage.
With those three teams joining the previously qualified ONIC Philippines, Team Liquid ID, and Bigetron Esports, the list of teams that will compete in the Playoffs has been completed.
RRQ Hoshi will be the top seed from Group B due to their flawless performance in the league. They won all five of their matches in the tournament without dropping a single game to their opponent. They will accompany ONIC Philippines, who also finished at the top of the groups with five wins. However, the Filipino team did drop one game in the Group Stage in a 2-1 victory against
Team Liquid ID. ONIC Philippines completed their journey in the Group Stage with a 2-0 win against
Bigetron Esports.
Both RRQ Hoshi and ONIC Philippines will get a Bye win in the Playoffs as they were the top seed from their respective groups. They will await the other four teams in the Playoffs Semi-final, where they will play a single-elimination best-of-five series for their lives in the tournament.
While Team Falcons PH had a relatively smooth experience in the tournament so far, the same couldn't be said for ONIC, as they had to wait until the last minute to secure themselves a slot in the Playoffs. The Indonesian team were cruising after their two wins on the first day of the Group Stage. However, a 2-0 loss to RRQ Hoshi trapped them in a difficult position where their closest rival was waiting in their last game of the stage. While they lost the last match against Aurora Turkiye, the Indonesian team still went through to the next stage thanks to a Game Difference advantage.
ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025 will continue with the playoff stage on Thursday (10 April). RRQ Hoshi and ONIC Philippines will not play on Thursday and will return on Friday (11 April).
