GosuGamers expands MLBB Community Series to Malaysia

Budding Malaysian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang players now have the chance to compete for Diamonds and glory!

GosuGamers announced on Monday (14 April) that it has partnered with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) developer MOONTON Games to expand the Gosu Community Series (GCS) to Malaysia with the GCS MLBB MY Cup. The tournament series aims to provide Malaysian MLBB players with a new and exclusive platform to compete, showcase their skills, and rise as the next generation of esports stars.

The GCS MLBB MY Cup will be held monthly over three months and feature both 1v1 and 5v5 formats, with all tournaments to be hosted exclusively on GosuBattles, GosuGamers’ proprietary tournament platform. The tournament series will commence with its first 1v1 tournament on 20 April, 2025, followed by the 5v5 tournament on 26 April, 2025. Registration for the 1v1 tournament opened on 9 April, 2025, while registration for the 5v5 tournament began on 8 April, 2025.

The GCS MLBB MY Cup will also award the Top 3 finishers in the 1v1 and 5v5 formats with Diamonds, MLBB's in-game currency. The top performers will also be highlighted on GosuGamers' official channels for added recognition. The detailed breakdown of the prize pool for the tournament series is listed below:

GCS MLBB MY Cup 1v1 tournament

  • 1st: 1,500 Diamonds
  • 2nd: 1,000 Diamonds
  • 3rd-4th: 250 Diamonds

GCS MLBB MY Cup 5v5 tournament

  • 1st: 10,000 Diamonds
  • 2nd: 5,000 Diamonds
  • 3rd-4th: 2,500 Diamonds

Following the successful launch of the GCS MLBB Cup in the Philippines, the GCS MLBB MY Cup aims to provide competitive opportunities for both individual players and teams looking to get their start in the esports scene. As the tournament's host platform, GosuBattles ensures a seamless and hassle-free experience for participants, while simplifying tournament registration and management to make competitive gaming more accessible to fans worldwide.

MOONTON's partnership with GosuGamers to expand the GCS MLBB Cup to Malaysia is part of the developers' continued investment in community-driven initiatives that foster the growth of the MLBB esports ecosystem, which is a testament to their commitment to support rising talent and strengthen the regional gaming and esports community.
