Star roamer Ch4knu will once again lead Smart Omega in MPL Philippines Season 15.
Smart Omega announced their roster for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 15, spearheaded by the veteran 
Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog.
The team also brought two new players to the MPL Philippines roster, namely Louis Gabriel “Louis” Ariola, who was promoted back to the MPL roster from their MDL team Omega Neos, and Czedrick “Yoshinu” Romero from Team Liquid Academy PH. However, Smart Omega's MPL Philippines Season 15 lineup features one big difference from their Season 14 roster, as Nowee “Ryota.” Cabailo has been replaced by the promoted Louis in the EXP Lane.

Smart Omega is always categorised as a dark horse in MPL Philippines. However, their inconsistency often brought them disappointing results rather than satisfying ones. Seasons 13 and 14 of the league can be a great example.
In Season 13, they showed they can hang with the best with how they took down the mighty 
AP.Bren in the Regular Season. However, they couldn't qualify for the Playoffs as they only finished seventh in the league. Their performance in the Season 14 Regular Season was night and day compared to that from the previous season, as they finished third. However, their postseason run was quickly cut short after they suffered a 0-3 sweep from 
Blacklist International in the Play-Ins.
With a new EXP Laner and the retention of the majority of their lineup, chemistry will be the key for Smart Omega to perform well in MPL Philippines Season 15.
