From a new logo to new esports initiatives, 2025 is looking to be another big year for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) developer MOONTON Games have announced that the game will be getting a brand-new logo and expanding the reach of MLBB to China in 2025.
MOONTON announced these new initiatives ahead of the grand finals of the M6 World Championship. The developer also revealed that the Mid Season Cup (MSC) and the MLBB Women's Invitational (MWI) will also be returning to the Esports World Cup in 2025.
MOONTON also aims to fully integrate China into the global MLBB esports ecosystem after a landmark year for the region. This year marked the first time a Chinese team competed in the main event of the M World Championship Series after KeepBest Gaming qualified for the Swiss Stage of the M6 World Championship. KeepBest Gaming notably played in the M5 World Championship but failed to make it out of the Wildcard Stage.
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Chinese server will be launched in January 2025
After a resounding success in the Esports World Cup 2024, the MSC and MWI will also return to the event's 2025 edition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This will mark the second consecutive year that both tournaments will be hosted in the Esports World Cup.
In MSC 2024, we saw the rise of Selangor Red Giants, who led Malaysia to their international title. In the MWI 2024, OMEGA Empress defeated Team Vitality Female in a stunning 3-0 clean sweep in the grand finals.
These new initiatives will be seen in the upcoming 2025 MLBB esports calendar.
