With this victory, NIP Flash will also represent Singapore in the M6 World Championship.

NIP Flash have been crowned champions of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Singapore Season 8 champions after defeating Evil, 4-1, in the league's best-of-seven grand finals on Sunday (October 13).

Not only did NIP Flash claim supremacy in MPL Singapore for the third-straight season, they also earned the privilege to represent their league in the M6 World Championship – this year's MLBB world championship tournament – for the third year in a row.

In addition, the champions earned the grand prize of SG$36,000 for their efforts. NIP Flash jungler Jaymark "Hadess" Lazaro also took home the Finals MVP honours while Gold laner Keith "Vanix" Lim took home the Regular Season MVP award.

After dominating MPL SG for the previous two seasons, NIP Flash continued to be nigh-unstoppable in Season 8. The team won every single game they played in their first six matches of the Regular Season before falling to a 2-0 upset to Rift Esports in their last match to advance to the Playoffs with a league-leading 6-1 record.

In the Playoffs, NIP Flash swept Vanguard Esports, 2-0, in the upper bracket semifinals then tore through Evil, 3-0, in the upper bracket finals to become the first team in the championship round. Evil then defeated RSG Singapore, 3-1, in the lower bracket finals to earn a rematch with NIP Flash for the MPL SG Season 8 crown.

Things looked good for NIP Flash to start the grand finals, but they proved to be a tad overeager as Evil took advantage of their lapse to take the 16-minute win to open the series. NIP Flash were quick to bounce back from their game one loss however, as they took game two in 19 minutes to equalize the grand finals at 1-1.

Both teams then went blow-for-blow in the pivotal third game, but it was NIP Flash that emerged victorious after 16 minutes of action to regain their momentum. With their morale soaring once again, NIP Flash routed Evil in a 14-minute game four to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Evil showed valiant effort in their attempts to claw their way back in game five, but to no avail. NIP Flash were simply too good, and after an 18-minute closeout, they claimed the 4-1 grand finals victory and the MPL SG Season 8 title.

With their continued dominance over Singapore's MLBB secured once again, NIP Flash now look ahead to the M6 World Championship. There, they will test their mettle against 22 other teams from all across the globe just across the pond in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as one of the 15 teams to earn direct qualification to the Swiss Stage.

The M6 World Championship will be hosted from November 21 to December 15 and will have three distinct phases: the Wildcard Stage, the Swiss Stage, and the Knockout Stage.

The Wildcard will kick off the competition on November 21, as eight teams will be fighting for the last slot in the Swiss Stage. The Swiss Stage will follow on November 28, where 16 teams will battle it out for the right to play for this year's MLBB world championship in the Knockout Stage at Axiata Arena.
