Redd+E has joined forces with Team Flash with the aim of expanding service offerings for the team across Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

As esports continues to grow, we see more and more mergers within the scene – be it between a team and organisation, or external companies and teams. Today we see another of these, as the Singaporean esports marketing agency Redd+E announced their merger with one of the most well-known Southeast Asian esports organisations, Team Flash.

Alongside the merger, Team Flash also officially announced their acquisition of the Cambodian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team Burn Gaming. The team will now operate under the title of Team Flash KH while the all-female team will go by Team Flash Violet.

Redd+E brings a wealth of knowledge in esports marketing and management of events – while Flash’s widespread strength is a huge centrepiece in the merger as they also acquire a new team.

The merger brings together these two huge organisations, where Redd+E will focus mainly on agency operations – with event management and media rights at its core – while Flash will continue to place its attention on the esports teams under its banner. Redd+E will also be involved in the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 BLAST Premier World Final 2024, which takes place at the end of September in Singapore.

Yip Ren Kai, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Redd+E had the following to say on the merger,

When we first entered esports, we knew we wanted to better understand the ecosystem and the best way we felt, was through getting involved in an emerging esports organisation like Team Flash. This merger is the natural next pivotal step in expanding our reach and capabilities within the esports industry.”

Mark Chew, CEO of Team Flash, had the following to add on the team acquisition and the merger itself,

The acquisition of Burn Gaming and its rebranding to Team Flash KH highlights our commitment to growing the esports ecosystem in Southeast Asia. With Redd+E’s merger and the addition of Team Flash KH, we look forward to ushering in a new era of success and innovation.”

With the merger and the acquisition looking to give Team Flash a competitive advantage, it will be interesting to see how they fare in the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League Cambodia Season 7 tournament. Furthermore, the combination of the two organisations is set to bring some valuable services to the esports community in the region.
