Week 2 of MPL Indonesia surprised fans as RRQ Hoshi defeated defending champions Fnatic ONIC while Bigetron Alpha's perfect start continued.
MPL Indonesia produced big surprises for 
RRQ Hoshi and 
Fnatic ONIC in their second week. The king of kings humiliated the yellow hedgehog with a 2-0 wipe in front of fans. Meanwhile, 
Bigetron Alpha continued their perfect start with two wins over their first two matches in the league.
Besides taking down Fnatic ONIC, RRQ Hoshi also had a stellar week as they beat 
Rebellion Esports, 2-0, making them 4-0 for game wins in Week 2 of MPL Indonesia. 
Arthur “Sutsujin” Sunarkho and co. had brilliant start of the season for the runner-up of the M1 World Championship, unlike their previous season, where they were the league's bottom-dwellers.
Bigetron Alpha mimicked their MPL Indonesia Season 13's early campaign performance with a 4-0 score as they continued their attempt to challenge for the championship this season. The Red Android shut 
Alter Ego Esports and 
Dewa United Esports out with a 2-0 win to complete their perfect week.
On the other side of the leaderboard, 
EVOS Glory continued their poor form in the league, failing to get a single victory. The white tigers got 0-4 in two weeks, making them rock-bottom in MPL Indonesia Season 14. Besides EVOS Glory, Rebellion Esports also got a woeful start to the campaign as they crumbled against RRQ Hoshi and 
Team Liquid IDID in the second week of MPL Indonesia S14.
However, one team was able to bounce back from their awful opening week in this one, namely Team Liquid ID who scored two wins against EVOS Glory and Rebellion Esports. While their victory was against the current two lowest-ranked teams in the leaderboard, nonetheless, it propelled them into the mid-table with a 2-2 record.
The MPL Indonesia will return for the third week with both Fnatic ONIC and Bigetron Alpha playing two games for the crucial first spot in the league.
