Although MPL PH is now heading into its third week of Season 12 Regular Season action, Week 1 had its fair share of problems – which are being dealt with.
During the first week of the Mobile Legends Professional League in the Philippines, we saw some major technical difficulties, which were certainly picked up by the greater community. With a plethora of user feedback sent their way from said community, the MPL PH Broadcast Lead has made a full statement, ensuring the fans that this is something that they have worked on, and hope will never happen again.
Otto Hernandez, the Broadcast Lead for MPL PH had the following to say on the matter,
MPL Philippines experienced some technical problems on our first week, including the funny ‘windows moment.’ Despite rigorous rehearsals prior to the opening day, there were still some broadcast glitches which we immediately tried to resolve. We saw the comments and suggestions from our passionate community, and we listened. The league has been committed to showcasing the unparalleled strength of our players in MLBB esports in the best possible way. We will only be able to do that by ensuring our viewers have an excellent viewing experience.
We hope to see our fans' continued support in the upcoming weeks of MPL-PH. Stay tuned for more exciting online and offline activities in store for our fans!”
Some of the aspects that were touched upon were the Ingane PlayerCam Overlay, the Post Game Stats screens, the incorrect coach images being shown for teams, and the memorable Winning Moment sequence which showed the Windows background. All of this, and much more too, seems to have been far better in the recently completed Week 2 of MPL PH Season 12’s Regular Season – which is a huge step up from the first week’s problems.
Below you can see some of the before and after images, which look at the differences and changes made between Week 1 and Week 2:
There were more than a few changes made through Week 2, including better endgame visuals, the Draft Alightment and Trivia, and much more too. We hope to see more great work from the MPL when it comes to their broadcasts over the year, especially in rectifying issues that may arise throughout the seasons and regions.
