HomeBois has been making a name for themselves within the Mobile Legends Professional League in Malaysia for quite some time, although they did not fare too well at first. However, in the last two seasons, the team have begun to up their game, and Season 11 saw them barely miss out on the grand finals. Season 12 will see the team keep a strong roster while adding some fire to it, as they go in search of an MPL championship title.
While Coach Dale departed from the roster to head to the North American side of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, HB brought in another amazing coach to assist them moving forward – Coach Pabz, who guided Team HAQ through to their amazing Season 10 victory. While two of their Indonesian imports, Warlord and Barbosa, both remain on the team, they are no longer on loan. While Raizel, an MDL Champion, also moves over from ID. On this note, only two import players can be played at one time, so we are likely to see some changes between series throughout the season.
Lastly, HB also acquired Xorn, who will be playing in his twelfth MPL MY tournament – having joined Red Giants Esports in Season 11. The full HomeBois roster for MPL MY Season 12 is as follows:
- Muhammad Irfan “Sepat” Bin Aujang
- Muhammad Nazhan “Chibii” Bin Mohd Nor
- Myhammad Haniff “Anippp” Bin Abdul Rashid
- Barbossa
- Rizky “Warlord” Agustian
- Mohamad Zul Hisham “Xorn” Bin Mohd Noor
- Wahyu "Raizel"Saputra
If this team continues to perform as they did in the previous season, especially with their new additions, they could challenge the likes of TODAK and Team SMG once again for the spoils. All remains to be seen when MPL MY Season 12 kicks off on August 18, 2023.
