With only 10 days remaining before MPL MY Season 12 kicks off its Regular Season, RSG Malaysia has confirmed some substantial roster changes.
In Season 11 of the Mobile Legends Professional League in Malaysia, RSG MY struggled to return to their previous form after being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. This has triggered a spate of changes going into the upcoming Season 12, which includes the return of a few well-known names to active positions, and some new faces as the team brings in imports from the Philippines.
First and foremost, RSG MY welcomes both Demonkite and Stowm, two players who have previously made a name for themselves in MPL PH. While Stowm previously played for the likes of Bren Esports and Smart Omega Esports, Demonkite is definitely far more widely known for his amazing Jungle plays alongside RSG’s Philippine roster. The two players will be looking to inject some of their knowledge into the team for Season 12 and hopefully bring them back to some top-tier finishes.
Having moved to inactive earlier this year, LinkEzaa will be making a return to the active roster, although the jungle lane player will have some fierce competition with Demonkite now on the squad. The full RSG MY roster for MPL MY Season 12 is as follows:
- Muhammad Arif Bin Abdul “Rippo” Halim
- Jonard Cedrix “DemonKite” Caranto
- LinkEzaa
- Mohammad Irwandy “Izanami” Lim
- Ealtond “Lolealz” Rayner
- Dale Rolan “Stowm” Vidor
Whether or not the two PH players will be able to adapt to the MY playstyles remains to be seen, but if they can, RSG MY could be in a great spot to challenge the top teams once again. With a little over a week remaining before things kick off for the MPL MY Season 12 Regular Season, we don not have long to wait before we see RSG MY and the nine other challengers begin their battle.
