16 teams are set to compete in PGL Wallachia Season 3, which will be held from March 8 to 16.
Another Dota 2 qualifier in a month full of them has come to an end! Just a week after the conclusion of the DreamLeague Season 23 qualifiers, the PGL Wallachia Season 3 qualifiers have taken center stage. Despite their close scheduling, the two events featured distinct rosters of participants.
Unlike the DreamLeague qualifiers, the third edition of the PGL Wallachia qualifiers was limited to six regions, excluding the Middle East and Southwest Asia (MESWA) region. The participating regions included the traditional powerhouses: Western Europe (WEU), Eastern Europe (EEU), Southeast Asia (SEA), China (CN), North America (NA), and South America (SA).
A total of 16 teams will be attending PGL Wallachia S3, out of which eight were invited while eight more qualified via the regional qualifiers. Find out all invited and qualified teams below!

An interesting lineup at PGL Wallachia
PGL Wallachia sees interesting developments with some surprises here and there.
For OG, this event is particularly significant — it’s their first tier-one qualification in over a year of challenges and setbacks. Their achievement is even more impressive given their recent stumble at the DreamLeague Season 23 qualifiers.
However, the absence of PARIVISION, a rising powerhouse in the scene, has left the community puzzled. Fresh off their victory at ESL One Bangkok 2024, the team was neither invited to the tournament nor participated in the qualifiers.
Meanwhile, Wildcard is another name to watch. The roster that previously played under the banner of Apex Genesis has secured their first-ever qualification for a tier-one event under the banner of an organisation co-owned by popular steamer Amouranth, making PGL Wallachia Season 3 an exciting milestone for the team.
The stage is set, and now all that's left is to wait for the tournament to begin. PGL Wallachia Season 3 kicks off from March 8 to 16, live in Bucharest, Romania. In the meantime, there’s plenty to look forward to, with upcoming tier-one events like FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1, Blast SLAM II, and DreamLeague Season 25 lined up ahead.
