NIP Flash Diablo: "It is definitely Selangor Red Giants because they are undefeated"

NIP Flash was dominant at MPL Singapore Season 7, and Diablo gave us some insights into their brilliance following the win.

It has been a couple of days since NIP Flash was able to destroy RSG Singapore in the Mobile Legends Professional League Season 7 Grand Finals for the region, and over the weekend, we managed to catch up with Diablo, who had a fantastic weekend overall. We asked the player a bit about everything, but our favourite response was that he wanted to be the one to take down RSG SG again – and he definitely assisted his team in doing so.

How does it feel to have joined forces with a legendary organisation such as Ninjas in Pyjamas?

Diablo: I’m quite surprised because I didn’t expect us to join with such a big organisation.

Considering Asteris was a qualifier team, what do you think makes them so good coming into MPL SG and doing rather well?

D: I’d say it’s because of their teamwork and chemistry. No matter how good you are, the basis is teamwork and they do well with that. This is also why they are able to beat the veteran teams from time to time.

While Chip has been banned quite often, he really has not made a showing in SG’s scene compared to the other regions. Why do you think this is?

D: Chip requires everyone to play around him and can’t really function by himself. A hero like Minotaur can initiate and survive, whereas Chip requires a lot more of a team presence.

Looking forward to MSC 2024, if you get there, which international team are you most excited to go up against?

D: It is definitely Selangor Red Giants because they are undefeated, and I want to prove the world wrong.

Of all the teams apart from your own, which player do you feel stands out the most in MPL SG Season 7?

D: I’d say it’s definitely Brayyy. Even when going up against new teams, he’s still performing really well and trying his best to take his team to the highest level.

NIP Flash now gets a well-deserved break for a few weeks before they begin their travels to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where they will take part in the Esports World Cup. With so many changes for this year’s Mid Season Cup 2024, the Singaporean team, with their new partnership, will be hoping to make a name for themselves on the international stage – and with such a strong team, you can be sure that they will bring their best to the stage.
