Chano, the Chief of Wolves, is coming to the Hero's Gorge, according to a recent announcement from Honor of Kings. The latest marksman of the game will be available for players on 5 April, 2025. Chano will be the 102nd hero in Honor of Kings, the latest after the release of Feyd back in March 2025.
Summarised from the Honor of Kings World, Chano was born into the harsh Northlands, a land plagued by frenzied feralis and tribal conflicts. As a child, he was raised among wolves, learning their ways and surviving alongside them. His bond with the legendary Grey Wolf granted him insight into the Sunfall, a dark force corrupting the land.
Determined to unite the tribes and end the suffering caused by the Sunfall, Chano rose as a hero and leader, commanding both warriors and wolves. However, his brilliance and victories bred jealousy among his allies. His closest friend, Zhe Yuan, betrays him, leading to a devastating ambush that wipes out his wolf pack.
Honor of Kings projected Chano as one of the most devastating Basic Attack heroes with his combination of skills. Chano is a marksman with decent mobility and high turret-pushing capabilities. Chano can farm and trade safely with his Soaring Signal and Lupine Trap skills, as he can reveal the enemy position with his trap and push them away with Basic Attack during Soaring Signal.
However, his true potential lies when he activates Leader Stance, his ultimate. When using his ultimate, Chano will have the ability to do Basic Attacks while moving. However, Chano is also susceptible to a gank, as he lacks many escape mechanisms against crowd control.
Chano will be released on the global server on 5 April, 2025 as the 102nd hero of Honor of Kings.
