Hoshimi Miyabi is coming to Zenless Zone Zero in an upcoming Section 6-focused update.
HoYoverse’s latest drip marketing has re-revealed an upcoming playable Agent in Zenless Zone Zero: Hoshimi Miyabi from the Hollow Special Operations Section 6 faction.
I say re-revealed, because this Agent was actually announced all the way back in 2022, and was even included in the game’s early beta. This time, it looks like Miyabi is coming to Zenless Zone Zero’s upcoming Version 1.4 update as an S-Rank Agent, alongside Asaba Harumasa.
Zenless Zone Zero gets new Agent Hoshimi Miyabi in next update
Zenless Zone Zero has unveiled another upcoming playable Agent coming to its Version 1.4 update: Hoshimi Miyabi. Miyabi is one of the top leads of the Hollow Special Operations Section 6 faction, and has periodically appeared in the main story to build up to what appears to be a major Section 6 storyline. She is an S-Rank Agent, joining Version 1.4’s Exclusive Signal Search banner alongside Asaba Harumasa.
Here’s where it gets interesting: Miyabi is an Anomaly Agent, but her attribute is unclear as of right now. While she used to be an Ice Agent in previous iterations of the game, today’s drip marketing has labelled her with an all-new attribute symbol. It looks similar enough to Ice, but otherwise appears to be its own new thing. This might mean that HoYoverse is planning to introduce a dual or sub-attribute system in Version 1.4, with Miyabi being the first Agent to feature it. Either that, or it's just redesigning the Ice icon.
Miyabi’s recently-released Agent Records point to her being well-liked in Section 6, with Harumasa calling her out as a “good boss.” Criminal Investigation Special Response Team Agent Zhu Yuan is also quoted as saying that Miyabi may appear to be difficult to understand at first, but “it’s not as bad as the rumours suggest.” Section 6 Agent Soukaku suggests that Miyabi has a training program in place to determine “melon content by eating melon products” as well.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.4 is set to drop sometime in December.
