What should you be watching in the Dota 2 scene this week? The DreamLeague Season 23 open & closed qualifiers will occur throughout the week for seven regions.
On the heels (quite literally nipping the heels) of DreamLeague Season 22, the open and closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 23 are already starting.
Qualifiers are being held in seven regions across the globe; North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, China, Southeast Asia, and MENA.
Eight teams from regional qualifiers will clinch a spot for DreamLeague Season 23. This is four teams less than DreamLeague Season 22.
- Two teams from Western Europe
- One team each from China, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, MENA, North America, and South America
A total of 12 teams will gather next month in bootcamps in Europe to participate at DL Season 23 for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and and 26,100 EPT points. At this point with no DPC, many expect that the EPT points will be critical for participating in ESL's LANs and might be the biggest factor in determining The International 2024 invites.
DreamLeague Season 23 will be followed by an ESL One LAN tournament in Asia, dates and location to be announced.
