9Pandas ends the 2023 year with only three players after being the first team eliminated at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.
Things did not go as well as planned, hoped, or even thought of for 9Pandas at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. They were the first eliminated during the group stage having only secured a single victory match and failing to claim a full series win. It was surprising considering how strong this team looked last season.
What isn't surprising is to see the roster moves being made before the new year.
After their disappointing 9-12th place finish at The International 2023, Matvey "MieRo`" Vasyunin was moved to inactive status and temporarily replaced with Andrey "Afoninje" Afonin for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. Only one month later MieRo was officially off the team.
Less than a week after the conclusion of ESL One KL, famed player Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev has now parted ways with the organization. Ramzes has been with the organization since it merged with Hellraisers in April 2023.
It is with mixed emotions that we share a significant decision
for the upcoming 2024 Dota 2 season: Roman "RAMZES666"
Kushnarev will no longer be part of the 9Pandas roster. We extend our sincere gratitude to Roman for his contributions,
standout drafts, and memorable highlights throughout this
year's major tournaments.Renowned as an experienced carry, Ramzes has been a pillar
of support for emerging talents, and his legendary partnership
with Alexey "Solo" Berezin has left an indelible mark
on the professional gaming scene. We wish Ramzes
every success in his future endeavors and anticipate seeing
him as a formidable competitor in the 2024 season.
According to the released statement, the new roster will be disclosed once negotiations are completed.
At the current time, the roster has only three players.
Current 9Pandas Roster:
Gleb “kiyotaka” Ziryanov
