BLAST Slam II will take place from February 3 to 9 at the BLAST Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark.

BLAST continues to build its presence in the Dota 2 scene with the highly-anticipated second edition of its BLAST Slam series, BLAST Slam II, set to commence on February 3. With excitement building, BLAST has revealed all 10 directly-invited participants for the tournament.

Unlike most tier-one Dota 2 events, BLAST Slam II has no qualifiers and is exclusively passing out direct invites. The 10 teams invited represent a mix of top-tier teams from across the globe. The roster of invited teams includes:

Among the many tournaments set to happen this season, BLAST Slam II stands out with its unique, high-pressure format. The competition will feature two Group Stages, during which four teams will face elimination. The remaining six will then advance to a single-elimination Playoff bracket, where every game is do-or-die.

The event will take place from February 3 to 9, in a LAN setting at the BLAST Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. A substantial $1 million prize pool will be up for grabs, with $250,000 of that awarded as team earnings. The remaining $750,000 will then be fought over by the teams, with the champion set to walk away with the lion's share of $300,000.

BLAST Slam II is just one of several exciting tier-one tournaments marking the start of the 2025 competitive Dota 2 season. The action begins with FISSURE Playground #1 on January 24, followed by BLAST Slam II. Shortly after, fans can look forward to events like DreamLeague Season 25, PGL Wallachia Season 3, and ESL One Raleigh 2025.
