A new online tournament -Sunrise Cup will begin tomorrow featuring eight directly invited European and CIS teams competing for the lion's share of the $5,000 prize pool.
In Ukraine, a quaint little hotel is wanting to get in on the esports scene and has decided to sponsor their first Dota 2 online event. Hotel Antique House has invited eight teams to compete starting August 30th. If all things go well, their hope is to eventually host a LAN event with the main part being held in their hotel.
The tournament starts August 30th and will run through September 12th.

Tournament Format:
Phase 1:
- Eight invited teams, two groups of four
- All matches are played in a Bo3
- Teams get 1 point for every map they win
- Top two advance to the playoffs upper bracket
- Bottom two advance to the playoffs lower bracket
Phase 2:
- Double elimination
- All matches besides grand final are played in a Bo3
- Grand final is played in a Bo5
Prize Pool distribution:
The total prize pool is $5,000.
1st place - $ 2500

3rd place - $ 1000
