The matchups are set for the VCT Last Chance Qualifier and a slot in VCT Champions is at stake.
Seven teams will battle it out at VCT LCQ Pacific from July 18 - 23 for a golden ticket to the VCT Champions 2023. This is a highly coveted spot because it is the last remaining seat at the Champions table for the Pacific region.
The tournament is held in a hybrid elimination format based on the results of the VCT: Pacific League. Seeds were determined by their previous standings in the regular season.
Talon Esports and DetonatioN FM will kick off the event in a single-elimination round. The winner will advance to another do-or-die series against Gen.G Esports. Rex Regum Qeon and Global Esports will also be following the same BO3 single elimination format.
Teams who survived the single elimination rounds can now rest easy as the remaining matchups are in double-elimination format. ZETA DIVISION and Team Secret await in the Upper Bracket semifinals.
The Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals will be played in a best-of-five series. The winning team will earn the last Pacific ticket to Los Angeles for the VCT Champions.
The new agent, Deadlock, will not be available to play in this tournament. Deadlock is the newest agent released in Episode 7 Act 1 with an interesting kit as a Sentinel. Fans may need to wait a bit more to see her in the professional scene.
The 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) will conclude in Los Angeles this coming August. The tournament gathers the best VALORANT teams in the world for the champions title and a chunk out of the whopping $1 million prize pool.
Nine teams already qualified in VCT Champions which are Evil Geniuses, NRG, LOUD, Fnatic, Team Liquid, FUT Esports, Paper Rex, DRX, and T1.
