Read on for a breakdown of all the content updates coming in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3:
New five-star characters: Hyacine and Cipher
Hyacine

Hyacine, the Chrysos Heir destined to carry the Coreflame of the Sky Titan Aquila, will wield the Wind element and follow the Path of Remembrance. She will be the first Remembrance character to take on the role of healer, assisting the team in battle alongside her Memosprite Little Ica.
When Hyacine uses her ultimate, she restores HP to all party members while also increasing their Max HP. Whenever any ally excluding Little Ica gets attacked or voluntarily sacrifices their own HP, Little Ica will also consume its own HP to automatically heal them. Aside from keeping the party's HP topped up, Little Ica further assists in battle by dealing damage that scales with the amount of healing it performed.
Hyacine will be available to pull in the first half of Version 3.3 alongside a rerun for The Herta (Ice Erudition). The rate-up 4-star characters in the first half of the update are Misha (Ice Destruction), Serval (Lightning Erudition), and Natasha (Physical Harmony).
Cipher

Cipher is one of the earliest Chrysos Heir to join the Flame-Chase Journey, destined to carry the Coreflame of the Trickery Titan Zagreus. She will wield the Quantum element and follow the Path of Nihility, acting as both a debuffer and damage-dealer in battle.
Cipher's abilities let her target the enemy with the highest Max HP on the field, and place them under a special status that records all damage they take. Whenever her allies attack the marked enemy, Cipher can perform a follow-up attack to help the party keep up the offensive. Her ultimate will then let her deal additional True DMG to her target based on the total recorded damage from the special status she inflicts.
Cipher will be available to pull in the second half of Version 3.3 alongside a rerun for Aglaea (Lightning Remembrance). The rate-up four-star characters in the second half of the update are Quingque (Quantum Erudition), Xueyi (Quantum Destruction), and Sushang (Physical Hunt).
New Amphoreus areas and Sky Titan Aquila weekly boss
The Amphoreus map will see two expansions in the Fortress of Dome and the Cloudedge Bastion Ruins, where the Chrysos Heirs are set to face off against the Sky Titan Aquila to complete the Flame-Chase. These two areas will feature four new enemy mobs: Dark Sun Gryphon, Black Tide's Champion, Black Tide's Decrepit Bow, and Black Tide Council.
The Sky Titan Aquila will also be the game's latest Echo of War weekly boss. Aquila takes on the form of a gigantic, hundred-eyed bird with full control over the cycles of Dawn and Dusk. Defeating Aquila will reward players with the Daythunder Anamnesis Trace Material.
New Divergent Universe expansion and events
Version 3.3 will feature an expansion to the Divergent Universe: Protean Hero game mode, as Madam Herta's data spirit entity has successfully reached the Vortex of Genesis. As the Geniuses delve deeper into their investigation, the root of Amphoreus's tragedy will gradually come to light and its fate will intertwine with that of the galaxy. Yet, how the story unfolds from here is for players to
discover in the chapters ahead.
The update will also include two new events: Trace ‘n’ Drift and Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King. Trace ‘n’ Drift will see the Trailblazer take part in the Penacony Speed Cup Spheroid Racing Tournament, where they will get behind the wheel of a Spheroid Racer and engage in thrilling speed challenges.
Meanwhile, the latest installment in the Legend of the Galactic Baseballer event will see the popular video game based on the Trailblazer's misadventures officially launch. At the behest of the returning Masked Fool Giovanni, the Trailblazer will once again test out the game and complete a host of combat challenges to earn rewards.
Of course, the game's three recurring events will also make a return in Version 3.3: the Gift of Odyssey log-in event will give players 10 Star Rail Special Passes over a seven-day period, while Planar Fissure and Garden of Plenty will let them earn additional Planar Ornament and Calyx rewards.
New Relic sets and quality-of-life updates
Version 3.3 also features two new Cavern of Corrosion Relic sets: Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder and Wavestrider Captain. In addition, the Relic storage limit will also be increased to 3,000. The repeated appearance of the red notification dots have will also be reduced.
