A gigantic amount of people are already playing Overwatch as the game is now live. If you want to gain an early edge over the opposition, then read on.
There are games, and then there are competitive games. Overwatch should definitely be considered the latter. No matter how competitive you are yourself, you are going to care about your own performance and results when you play the game. If you want to take a shortcut to mastery, and skip hours of making mistakes others have already made before you, take a look at the following mobile app:
OVERSUMO, made by Dojo Madness, provides access to a collection of pro tips from none other than REUNITED, one of our GosuRankings top teams. Top players like TwoEasy, Winghaven, and Morte have shared their own perspective of the game and its characters, and have thus made an impressing collection of things to be aware of.
Examples of tips include:
- Hanzo: Your passive ability (Wall Climb) makes Hanzo very mobile. All sniperspots can be reached fast and easy!
- The dragon brothers are quite evenly matched but a well-timed deflect can be devastating. Genji's double-jumping and Swift Strike make him hard to hit. Try to be patient with your Scatter Arrow.
- McCree: McCree's Flashbang ( E ) can interrupt many game-changing ultimates, for example Repear's Death Blossom and Pharah's Barrage.
- An isolated Reinhardt is easy pickings. Throw a Flashbang ( E ) over or under his Barrier Field to expose him and use Combat Roll (Shift) to Fan The Hammer (RMB) twice in quick succession.
- D.Va: Get creative with D.Va's Mech, her Boosters (Shift) can thrust her Self-Destruct (Q) forward and allow you to set off a large explosion deep behind enemy lines.
- Flying towards Widowmaker with an active Defense Matrix (E ) will force her to reposition. Keep an eye on where she goes and chase her down using Boosters (Shift).

As shown, the app divides its content by hero. Simply pick one, and see a number of general tips as well as a good overview of counters and countered. Tips range from beginner to advanced, and the tips to counter certain heroes are especially valuable. Of course the app won't be able to help you with your aim, but tactical insight will make your games significantly easier!
The Android app is out now and works best with Android 4.4 or higher, and the iOS version will soon hit the App Store. Visit the official website for all information.
