SlayerS, EG end cooperation

The partnership allowed for Evil Geniuses like HuK and IdrA to train in a Korean team house comes to an end after 11 months. In turn, EG players were eligible to participate in GSTL under SlayerS' flag.

Things are turbulent at the moment for both teams, as the Evil Geniuses are signing Ilyes 'Stephano' Satouri, arguably the best foreign player at the moment and welcoming Suppy as their recent addition. SlayerS was hit considerably harder as of late, where internal conflicts caused MMA to be moved to their b-team as well as team founder and BroodWar legend BoxeR departed to coach his former team SK Telecom T1. An official reason was not given, however, but EG's General Manager Cody Connors stated:

"SlayerS was extremely accommodating, and we're grateful for their hospitality. They took care of PuMa, JYP, IdrA, HuK, and ThorZaIN while our relationship lasted. Without their help, our efforts in Korea wouldn't have been nearly as effective."

EG CEO Andrew Garfield added:

"We are very grateful for Jessica and all of SlayerS’ assistance as an EG partner over the past year, but now’s the right time for us to head our separate ways."
