12 qualify for Assembly playoff, 20 to follow

After the first couple of hours of Friday, twelve players have qualified for the playoff.

Group A saw the crowd favorite TheLittleOne pass through in super speed, being the first to qualify for the playoff. One of the stronger Finnish players, Fuzer, were not able to qualify after losing to LiveZerg, one of the RoX-Gaming players who managed to show up at the venue.

Group B saw Kas pull through in comfortable fashion. And in if the audience was looking for some sort of upset, StyGGeN's victory over DarK.FoRcE might just barely count as one.

jimpo and Naama came in first and second in group C. The DreamHack champion was unable to take the first seed, losing to jimpo in a tough Terran versus Terran mirror. Former WarCraft 3 Finnish national team player Konna was unable to perform as good as in the Greenskin days.

Group D saw the Polish player Tarson qualify over three mediocre Finnish players. eNvious was back in the day a known player in WarCraft 3, but didn't seem to transition his former skill to the new game.

Group E only featured three games, with Abver not being able to attend due to visa issues. But we saw the Canadian HuK win with incredible fashion, showcasing some nice Protoss mirror games against kiljardi. He also beat SaSe to take the first seed.

Group F had the Intel Extreme Masters Americas runner-up qxc from ROOTGaming and one of the Dignitas Swedes Merz advance. Both won their matches against the Finns torecito and Ouga 2-0.
