Honestly, I expected the matches to be more close than the way they turned out but either way we have our winners.
StarTale 4:1 Team SCV Life
Ace | > | Clide | @ Shakuras Plateau |
Ace | > | Rain | @ Metalopolis |
Ace | > | Alive | @ Lost Temple |
Ace | < | SangHo | @ Crossfire |
JulyZerg | > | SangHo | @ Scrap Station |
If anyone had any doubts in the consistency of the StarTale players they should've been shattered by know. Ace opened the series for his team with indescribable ferocity, winning an exemplary macro PvT versus Clide on Shakuras, showing us perfect DT multitasking, macro skills and swift and on-time decision making. He then proceeded to destroy both GSL 3 runner-up Rain and the hero for TSL from day 1 Alive by some heavily aggressive play. This set the score 3-0 and SangHo had to step in to win a point for his team on Crossfire. However, StarTale released the monster that is JulyZerg and the StarCraft legend just toyed with the Protoss on Scrap Station showing us some very bold build orders and staying maxed 80% of the time. With 4-1 score, StarTale proceed to tomorrow's finals.
Incredible Miracle 4:1 Zenex
Losira | > | Byun | @ Shakuras Plateau |
Losira | < | Kyrix | @ Metalopolis |
YongHwa | > | Kyrix | @ Crevasse |
YongHwa | > | ON | @ Tal'Darim Altar |
YongHwa | > | Puzzle | @ Lost Temple |
Losira won the first game for IM by triumphing over Byun with some interesting aggressive expanding strat, overrunning the Terran with waves of banelings. Sadly, he had to step down after Kyrix did what he does best and bane-busted Losira's ramp and poured Zerglings in his main. This was, however, all she wrote for team Zenex as YongHwa came to dominate the date for IM and won three matches in a row against all three races and setting a final score of 4:1 for IM.
Thus, we have our Incredible Miracle [IM] vs StarTale [ST] which will be held tomorrow at 10:00 CET. We remind you that the total prize pool is a bit more than $13,000 USD with the gold medallists taking approximately $9,000 of them.
