The eight teams are chosen on the number of Code S and Code A players they possess and by calculating a GSTL Point rating on this basis (Code S players yield 1.6 points and Code A players 1 point). Considering the GSL results so far, the top teams to take part in GSTL are oGs, Prime, ST, TSL, fOu, ZENEX, IM and SlayerS.
The Ro8 and Ro4 will have a Bo7 format and the Grand Final will be a Bo9. Each team will determine eight of its players and the order in which they will compete. Gamers will also have the option to stay through consecutive wins until they are defeated, in which case another teammate will take their place.
The games begin on Monday, February 7th, at 10:00 CET with the following pairings:

First place winner will bring home 10mil. KRW (roughly $8900 USD) and silver medallist will be rewarded 5mil. KRW.
