Sziky wins defiler.ru tournament and $40

Defiler Tour #6 happened to be this past sunday, with a total prize pool of $70, with $40 for the winner, $20 for the runner up and the rest $10 split between the third and the fourth. Sziky managed to beat Heme 2-1 in the finals for the first prize.

With 108 sign-ups and 61 check-ins this tournament clearly showed the remaining love and competition in the StarCraft community. After the first four rounds the best of the players already filtered out, sure to take home at least $5, but fighting to get into the finals to reach for the first place.


While the russian powerhouse Terran Heme managed to defeat his semi final opponent with a clear 2-0, Sziky had to beat the us-american LaStScan with 2-1 to advance into the finals. The finals were also best of three, with Sziky getting the edge over Heme with yet another 2-1 score, to secure himself the first spot and $40.

There is also an option to download the replays from the tournament, either all the replays from the winner, or the whole tournament as a big replay pack.
