Rebellion Esports announced their roster for the upcoming MPL Indonesia Season 14 with a surprise former Bigetron Alpha player in their lineup. 
Matthew “MATT” Geraldo joins the Blue Bulls after his tenure in Team Secret back in 2023. He will fill the Gold Laner spot in the team after they part ways with Marsiko “Moai” Adi.
Besides MATT, Rebellion Esports also recruited former RRQ Sena Jungler, Jason “Aether” Keane Zefanya to their team. He will fill the Jungler position instead of Vincent Frandica “Vincentt” Suwnadhi, who left the team. Besides the two players, Rebellion Esports also announced the promotion of Ryota from their MDL ID lineup to be their second jungler.
The twin brother of MAXX was an accomplished player in the Indonesia MLBB scene. So far, he has been MDL Indonesia's champion and MPL Indonesia's runner-up. However, his journey in Indonesia wasn't completed yet as he hasn't won the MPL Indonesia trophy. The last season he had with Bigetron Alpha in MPL Indonesia, he finished in a respectable fourth place before finally deciding to part ways with the team.
MATT left the Bigetron Alpha squad in 2023 when he joined Geek Fam (then Geek Slate) in MPL Indonesia Season 11. However, his tenure there wasn't a sweet memory as they only achieved 5th-6th position in the tournament. He then joined Team Secret in Malaysia for Season 12 of MPL Malaysia. However, his venture into new grounds didn't come as a fond memory as the team finished in ninth place.
MPL Indonesia Season 14 will start on 9 August 2024 with nine teams, just like the previous season. Fnatic.ONIC will try to defend their dominance in the league and secure another title, completing the five-in-a-row. Can Rebellion Esports stop their dominance in the league?
