After two weeks of awful results, ONIC is finally back on track in the MPL Indonesia Season 15 with two crucial wins.
Week 3 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 15 saw 
ONIC return to form as they earned full points from the two games they played this week. The Yellow Hedgehog seemed rejuvenated with the arrival of 
Nowee “Ryota.” Cabailo and the return of 
Clayton “Savero” Kuswanto to the team. However, the same couldn't be said for 
Natus Vincere (NAVI), who are still winless after three weeks.
ONIC looked more solid than ever with Savero returning to the team, especially in their match versus 
Bigetron Esports. The former dominant power in MPL Indonesia looked nigh unstoppable against the Red Android as Ryota picked up anchor duty for the team while Savero proved why he was the crucial missing piece for ONIC in the past two weeks.
Meanwhile, NAVI still haven't found their rhythm yet, even when they tried to shuffle around their roster, switching Muhammad Rakhaa “woshipaul” Sastradinata to Jason “Aether” Keane Zefanya or vice versa multiple times. They lost twice in the week, first against 
EVOS and then to Bigetron.

While we already covered that ONIC still has a chance to come back in our Week 1 coverage, what we didn't cover was the impact of Ryota's arrival on the team. The former 
Smart Omega player delivered instant impact with a win over 
Dewa United Esports. He then continued his fabulous performance in the team's rout of Bigetron alongside the returning Savero. Both he and Kairi “Kairi” Ygnacio Rayosdelsol instantly clicked and showcased the deep relationship of the Filipinos from way back to their 
ONIC Philippines days.
This dynamic duo was something to consider for Adi “Coach Adi” Asyauri for the remaining games of the season. Previously, Muhammad “Rezzz” Kurniawan has been the starting EXP Laner for the team during the first week. However, his performance had been lackluster at best, with two losses for the team in the first week while he averaged five deaths per game. Then, the team experimented with Manuel “Nnael” Simbolon on the EXP Laner role during the second week, and while he showed great performance in the game it was still not enough as his inexperience bit him once the laning phase was over.
Ryota's next test will be against the struggling NAVI and Team Liquid ID. Both teams had a terrible time in Week 3 and will be looking to regain their momentum in Week 4.
A crack in the King of Kings' crown
Another week, another win for the reigning king of kings. RRQ Hoshi hasn't suffered any losses yet so far in the tournament. However, the cracks are already showing as they finally lost a game in the tournament, with 
Alter Ego Esports stealing a game on the second day of Week 3.
During their first game against RRQ Hoshi, Alter Ego shocked the MPL Indonesia fans with a superbly aggressive playstyle. Syahrul “Rinee” Ramadhan's Hanzo was the catalyst for the victory and paired with Syauki Fauzan “NINO” Sumarno's Lukas to end RRQ Hoshi's 100% game win rate. However, the next two games were RRQ Hoshi's time to play as they systematically stopped every attempt at aggression by Alter Ego with their defensive prowess, showcasing why there were the team with the least deaths in the tournament so far.
MPL Indonesia Season 15 will continue with Week 4 on 18 April after a short Eid break. ONIC will look to continue their momentum against NAVI in the week's opener, while the Classic Derby between RRQ Hoshi and EVOS will commence on the second day.
