MPL Philippines Season 15 Week 7 confirms AP.Bren's elimination from Playoff contention

AP.Bren failed to advance to the Playoffs after losing against ONIC Philippines in Week 7 of MPL Philippines Season 15.

AP.Bren has been confirmed as the first team to fail to advance to the Playoffs of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 15 after losing against ONIC Philippines in Week 7 of the league. The former Lazy Esports roster lost twice in the week, first falling to Twisted Minds PH before being completely battered by ONIC PH.  

The rookie roster's debut in the league was not as sweet as they hoped. Every other team in the league outclassed them, and they themselves only ever showed flashes of competence. In seven weeks of Regular Season play so far, AP.Bren only managed one win out of 11 total matches, with their lone victory coming againstSmart Omega in Week 4.

With AP.Bren's elimination, only two teams remain in contention for the last spot in the Playoffs: Twisted Minds and Smart Omega. Twisted Minds PH are currently leading this race for the Playoffs after their win against AP.Bren gave them a 3-10 record. However, Smart Omega still have the chance to pull ahead in the last week of the Regular Season when they play both AP.Bren and ONIC Philippines.

ONIC Philippines holds the key to the last Playoff spot

ONIC Philippines will figure prominently in the struggle for the last Playoff spot as the MPL PH Season 14 champions will play both Smart Omega and Twisted Minds PH in Week 8. 

If ONIC Philippines defeats both teams or vice versa, Smart Omega has a chance to proceed to the Playoffs if they can defeat AP.Bren before confronting the Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025 champion. However, if only one team defeats ONIC Philippines, the winner will advance to the Playoffs.

MPL Philippines Season 15 will continue with the last week on Friday (2 May). In Week 8, the winner of the last spot for the Playoffs will be determined. Team Liquid PH will face TNC Pro Team in the opening match of the week, while Aurora Gaming and Team Falcons PH will close the Regular Season.
