MSC 2024 announced they will investigate the pause incident between See You Soon and Selangor Red Giants from Day 1 of MSC 2024.

The MSC committee announced that they will investigate further the pause incident between 
Selangor Red Giants and 
See You Soon which took place on Day 1 of MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 Group Stage on July 3rd, 2024.
The incident happened during the draft phase of game 1 between the two teams. See You Soon’s last two hero picks were not intended, which caused the team to immediately report this to the Referee.
This is in accordance with Rule 6.4.4. of the MSC 2024 official rulebook: "In the event of an erroneously-selected Hero pick or ban, the team in error must notify the referee of their intended pick or ban in 3 seconds and before the other team has locked in their next selection. If so, the process will be restarted and brought back to the point at which the error occurred so that the team in error may correct its mistake”.
However, See You Soon surrendered the game without seeking approval first from the referee, which is a violation listed in the Penalty Index A: “Team forfeiting game without prior consent from the League”.
The MSC committee ruled that the draft phase would be continued according to Rule 6.4.4. and imposed the corresponding penalty on See You Soon after the match for their violation.
The MSC Committee opened the investigation of the match and urged the community to refrain from speculations until the investigation concluded or release the official findings.
To end the PSA, the MSC Committee stated that they remain committed to maintaining the professionalism and integrity of the events and its teams.
