MSC 2024: HomeBois blast away their opponents to dominate Group B in the Wildcard Tournament

Day 2 of the MSC 2024 Wildcard Tournament is now over, and the two teams set to fight for the final spot in the main event’s Group Stage are ready for battle.

After we witnessed Entity7 take the first spot in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup 2024 Wildcard Tournament yesterday, today it was time for their challenger to be found. Group B definitely had some favourites to take the honours, but anything can, and always seems to happen when it comes to MLBB esports.

HomeBois go unbeaten

Kicking off Group B we saw the matchup which was between two of the favourites, HomeBois and IHC Esports. Unfortunately for IHC, they were on the back foot right away, and HB raised the Malaysian flag as they took their first win. While they had a little bit of a tougher time against Trained to Kill, HB managed to secure their second win, setting themselves up to end the day the same way as E7 – unbeaten.

On the other side of things, Brute Force was unable to find their footing after a well-fought game against T2K saw them eventually lose. The MLBB Continental Championship Season 3 winners struggled to match with IHC in their next series, and it left them with HB as their final game – not one which was likely to see a win coming their way. It didn’t take long for HB to snowball themselves into a huge lead, and by 12 minutes they had already cleared every tower on their opponent’s side, leading them into a comfortable 3-0 sweep of Group B.

With that, the grand final of the MSC 2024 Wildcard is set, with HomeBois prepping to take on Entity7 in a best-of-five decider series which will see the victor joining the fifteen teams already set to fight in the main event’s Group Stage. With less than a day left for the two teams to prepare, Sunday’s crossover decider match is set to be absolutely epic.
