This week in MLBB we are spoiled for choice, with four MPL PH, ID, MY, and MENA to watch – so we have picked the best series from each.
While we only had to concentrate on the Mobile Legends Professional League in the Philippines over the past weekend, this coming weekend gives us a veritable smorgasbord of opportunities to see our favourite teams in action across Southeast Asia and the globe. Not only do Indonesia and Malaysia return to action, but we also see the newly overhauled MPL Middle East and North Africa event kick-off – as teams all attempt to reach the Mid-Season Cup and the Esports World Cup.
MPL Philippines
After an extremely exciting Week 4 in the MPL PH Season 13 Regular Season, Week 5 is lining up to be another epic one for the teams at the top of the world. One of the best aspects we have seen in Season 13 so far is the re-emergence of ONIC Philippines as a challenger, even taking down AP.Bren in stunning fashion. That said, Week 5 turns our attention to the bottom of the standings, where Blacklist International struggle to find their way. With two series on the cards for the once-champions, we will be watching closely to see if they end up stumbling.

MPL Indonesia
After almost three full weeks without play, MPL ID’s Season 13 returns, with the teams hopefully fully revitalised and ready to head into the downhill slide into playoffs. While ONIC have already been beaten, it’s Bigetron Alpha who pulled themselves into the top spot, but the middle of the table is definitely more of a concern right now. With Rex Regum Qeon currently in the elimination zone, and the likes of Dewa United Esports, Alter Ego, Geek Fam ID, and AURA Fire all above them, the remaining weeks of the Regular Season are heated.

MPL Malaysia
Malaysia’s MPL circuit also saw a break of nearly two weeks but returns this coming weekend with Week 3 of its Regular Season. So far it has been King Empire, the organisation which took over from Team SMG, who have remained unbeaten at the top, with Red Giants Esports trailing close behind. Season 12 champions, HomeBois, will be hoping to make up some ground this week, while the rest of the teams begin to find their way in the lead-up to the halfway mark in the season.

MPL MENA
This year will see the EWC take in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s MSC 2024 into its list of titles, and with a $3,000,000 prize pool, teams will be doing their best to reach the tournament. With the event running in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the MENA region will be on their home ground, and that is why MPL MENA has seen an overhaul. With Season 5 beginning this week, the teams will be starting their journey through to the main event – so there is a lot to watch.
With such a wide array of MLBB coming our way this week, there is going to be a lot to watch for every fan across the globe. We will continue to bring you all the information on each of the MPL events that are currently ongoing, and any future events which are on the way as we count down to MSC 2024.
