The MPL Singapore Season 8 playoff stage is already right around the corner. Six teams will compete against each other for a chance to represent Singapore in the biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang! tournament of the season: the M6 World Championship.
Representing the land of the Merlion, here are the six teams in MPL Singapore Season 8 playoff:
1. Bleed Esports
The first team on the list is Bleed Esports. Their performance this season was far from what they achieved last season, as they finished second in Season 7. This season, Bleed finished in fifth place after a terrible performance during weeks one and three. Granted, they do have a new lineup.
Bleed, however, must be content with their placement and will start in the Lower Bracket at the playoff.
2. Evil
Perhaps it's not unsurprising that EVIL saw an improvement with the inclusion of Mark Christian “Markyyyy” Capacio, Bien “Boyet” Chumecera, and Kennn into the squad. However, how they performed this season was something to behold. They finished second in the regular season and improved from their sixth-place finish last season.
3. NIP. Flash

Perhaps the most predictable team to be included in this list. NIP Flash were the defending champion from Season 7, and they still looked unstoppable this season. Their only loss this season came when they experimented with their lineup, changing four of their player positions against Rift Esports.
They are undoubtedly the favourite to win the tournament and complete the three-peat.
4. Rift Esports
They are the only team that beat NIP. Flash in the regular season. Rift Esports got a respectable third-place finish behind NIP. Flash and Evil. Their 4-3 record was the same as last season, where they finished fourth in the league.
5. RSG Singapore
The former dominator of MPL Singapore. Last season, the rival of NIP. Flash failed to prove they were still worthy as they fell into sixth place at the end of the regular season. The change in RSG Singapore's personnel proved to be too much of an adjustment for them to stay dominant in the league.
They will start in the lower bracket alongside Bleed Esports, waiting for their opponent in the upper bracket.
6. Vanguard Esports
Vanguard Esports proved why they are worthy of being in the MPL Singapore, as they got the same point as Rift Esports but lost more games. The former qualifier team back in Season 6 breezed through their opposition in the league, losing only to NIP. Flash, Evil, and, surprisingly, Frontyardigans.
The MPL Singapore Season 8 playoff will run from October 11 to October 13, 2024. Six teams will contest for one slot for the M6 World Championship and a prize pool of 100,000 SGD. Can anyone stop the NIP. Flash dominance this season?
