There's no time to be super shy with Worlds 2023 just around the corner.
Rising K-pop sensation NewJeans will be the official performing artist for the League of Legends World Championship anthem, "GODS." The group reached global recognition over the last year with hit singles like " Super Shy," "OMG," and "Ditto."
The official anthem for Worlds 2023, "GODS" was written by Riot Games principal composer Sebastian Najand and Alex Seaver of Mako, who helped to co-write the song. Seaver's other work for Riot includes multiple songs from the Arcane soundtrack as well as tracks like "Legends Never Die," "Awaken," and "RISE."
The Worlds 2023 music video will feature Dplus KIA's AD carry Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu as the main character and it follows his journey of discovering League of Legends in high school to lifting the Summoner's Cup last season. However, the music video is more than just a personal story of Deft; it's about how a team overcame all the odds to become world champions.

Worlds 2023 will begin on October 9 and run to November 19, starting with the Worlds Qualifying Series (WQS) first between Golden Guardians and Team BDS. This will determine the final team that will make-up the first round of the Play-In Stage.
Both the WQS as well as the Play-In Stage will be played at the LCK's home of LoL Park while the Swiss Stage will be held at the KBS Stadium. When we move to the playoff round, Sajik Arena will play host to the quaterfinals and semifinals while Gocheok Sky Dome is the venue of choice for the grand finals.
The Worlds 2023 anthem, "GODS" will be released on October 3 at 10.00 pm PT and October 4 at 2.00 pm KST.
