I think this would be an incredible idea, and a great way for Riot to put meaning into the S of Riot Games. They already have the lore, the world, the Characters (NPCs to fill the world with), the Classes and Races etc. They honestly just need to build the GAME the Backbone portion of the MMO. Lets not forget we aren’t just talking about an indie games company
Just imagine being able to create an assassin from Noxus you’re in your full T5 set from raiding with your guild in an ancient tomb in Shurima, and everyone is looking up to you while you are pretending to be afk in Zaun so you can watch all the people click on your character to inspect your gear.
Just imagine accepting a questline from Caitlyn and Vi to help catch a criminal going on a yordle punting rampage in Piltover. (Imagine being the one accepting a quest from Jinx to go on the yordle punting rampage!)
Just imagine every year in October closer to Halloween you can participate in a yearly Harrowing event where the black mist comes and you can help defend Bilgewater with MF
Just imagine being able to help defend ionia from Noxus. Even better leading the charge with Darius as you invade with the Noxian army at your back!
There is just so much potential here that I hope Riot doesn’t just put down as a joke. There is just so much more than the Summoners Rift that I want to be apart of.
