Hyacine will be Honkai: Star Rail's fourth character following the Path of Remembrance, and likely the first healer of the Path.
Honkai: Star Rail begun rolling out teasers for the upcoming characters releasing in Version 3.3 on Tuesday (25 March), starting with the game's fourth Remembrance character in Hyacine. She will wield the Wind element and fight alongside her Memosprite, the little pegasus Ika, which looks like an adorable winged horse stuffed toy.
Hyacine was first shown to Honkai: Star Rail players in the Golden Epic Trailer – “Amphoreus' Saga of Heroes” alongside her fellow Flame-Chasers before making her first in-game appearance in the current Version 3.1 Trailblaze Missions. Hyacine serves as a healer in Okhema's Twilight Courtyard, and is the Chrysos Heir tasked with guarding the Coreflame of the Sky Titan Aquila.
Fans of another HoYoverse game, Genshin Impact, may find Hyacine to be a familiar face. She bears quite the resemblance to the 4-star character from Mondstadt, Barbara, only with pink hair and the ability to sprout wings of light from her back. Both characters are also healers in their respective games' stories, and could very well share that same role in combat too.
Characters following the Path of Remembrance in Honkai: Star Rail don't necessarily adhere to a strict combat role like those from other Paths, instead having the ability to fight alongside special Summons called Memosprites as their distinguishing characteristic. With Hyacine serving as a healer in the game's story, we can expect that she will also very likely be the first healer from the Remembrance Path.
Hyacine will be Honkai: Star Rail's fourth Remembrance character after Aglaea, the Remembrance Trailblazer, and the soon to be released Castorice.
Honkai: Star Rail version 3.3 is expected to be released in late May. With Hyacine already being revealed, we can expect at least one more 5-star character to be revealed on Wednesday (26 March). While HoYoverse has not given any information as to who that might be, we can expect them to be any of the revealed Chrysos Heirs that are not yet playable, such as Phainon and Cipher.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently in Version 3.1, which saw the release of two 5-star characters in Tribbie (Quantum Harmony) and Mydei (Imaginary Destruction). The current version will run until 9 April before giving way to Version 3.2, which will see the release of two more 5-star characters in Castorice (Quantum Remembrance) and Anaxa (Wind Erudition).
