Dominator Esports and Bigetron Esports secure Playoff spots in IKL Spring 2025 Week 4

Both group leaders secured a Playoff spot after the first cross-group series in IKL Spring 2025 Week 4.

Dominator Esports and Bigetron Esports each secured a Playoff spot from their respective group after winning their first cross-group match in Honor of Kings Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2025 Week 4. Dominator Esports beat Talon Esports ID with a stunning 2-0 scoreline to remain undefeated in the league, while Bigetron Esports also swept Kagendra to stay on top in Group Overlord.

With Vesakha Esports and Alter Ego Enma losing their first cross-group series, both Dominator and Bigetron earned enough points to secure themselves a spot in the Playoffs. However, they will need at least one more win to secure themselves an upper bracket berth.

Here are the standings for the Honor of Kings Indonesia Kings Laga Spring 2025 after the end of Week 4:

Group Tyrant

  1. Dominator Esports (9-0) +15 Game difference (GD)
  2. Kagendra (6-3) +5 GD
  3. Rex Regum Qeon (4-5) -1 GD
  4. Alter Ego Enma (2-7) -9 GD
  5. Team Nemesis (1-7) -11 GD

Group Overlord

  1. Bigetron Esports (8-1) +10 GD
  2. Talon Esports ID (6-3) +5 GD
  3. Mahadewa Esports (3-6) -3 GD
  4. Vesakha Esports (3-6) -4 GD
  5. ONIC Esports (2-6) -7 GD

Eight teams battle for four spots in the Playoffs

With two spots already taken by Dominator Esports and Bigetron Esports, only four slots remain to be filled with eight teams vying for position. Two spots remain at stake from each group, with every team still eligible to grab one. The favourites to grab these slots are Kagendra and Rex Regum Qeon from Group Tyrant as well as Talon Esports ID and Mahadewa Esports from Group Overlord.

While Group Tyrant's spots look to be almost set in stone, Group Overlord is still wide open. Fifth-placed team ONIC Esports have a one-game advantage over Mahadewa Esports, while fourth-placed Vesakha Esports are just one GD behind Mahadewa Esports. Moreover, both teams' chances to overtake third place are still open since Mahadewa would face Dominator Esports in the fifth week of IKL Spring 2025. Talon Esports ID, on the other hand, already had one hand in playoff contention with their 6-3 scoreline.

The Honor of Kings IKL Spring 2025 will continue with Week 5 on 9 May 2025. Dominator Esports will look to continue their undefeated streak, with Mahadewa Esports and Bigetron Esports each trying to score a point from them.
