Eureka moves up to Playoff contention in Honor of Kings PKL Spring 2025 Week 3

Eureka found themselves in Playoff contention after two teams slipped up by the end of Week 3 of PKL Spring 2025.

Partnered team Eureka found themselves in Playoff contention after two wins and a loss in Week 3 of the Honor of Kings Philippines Kings League (PKL) Spring 2025. While their result so far haven't been the best, they have climbed into Playoff contention after two teams in front of them in the standings slipped up in the same week.

Team Flash PH and A.C.T. Esports Club lost both their matches in Week 3 of PKL Spring 2025. Their slip ups allowed Eureka, who won their match against last-place TNT Tropang Alab and the aforementioned A.C.T. Esports Club, to leap up two spots into fifth place in the leaderboard. A.C.T Esports Club now sit in sixth place, while Team Flash PH, who only have one win, are in seventh place.

Here are the Honor of Kings' Philippines Kings League Spring 2025 standings after the end of Week 3:

  1. Blacklist International (7-0) +14 Game difference (GD)
  2. Elevate (5-2) +6 GD
  3. BOOM Esports (5-2) +5 GD
  4. RWE Kadiliman (5-2) +5 GD
  5. Eureka (3-4) -2 GD
  6. A.C.T. Esports Club (2-5) -6 GD
  7. Team Flash PH (1-6) -8 GD
  8. TNT Tropang Alab (0-7) -14 GD

Another week, another 2-0 win for Blacklist International

With another week settled, Blacklist International looked more comfortable atop the leaderboard while TNT Tropang Alab are still stranded at the bottom of the table. Golden "Goldenk1te" Dajao and his teammates defeated both of their closest rivals, Elevate and RWE Kadiliman, with a statement 2-0 score in both matches. These wins put Blacklist International firmly in first place, essentially guaranteeing themselves a spot in the Playoffs.

Meanwhile, TNT Tropang Alab continue to flounder despite already being three weeks into the Regular Season. They once again failed to show the same fighting spirit that took Elevate to a 25-minute game in Week 1. TNT Tropang Alab were battered by Eureka and RWE Kadiliman, rendering their chance to qualify for the Playoffs paper-thin. Their avenue for a comeback will be an uphill battle as they will meet against Blacklist International and Elevate in Week 4 of the league.

The Honor of Kings PKL 2025 Spring 2025 will return with Week 4 on 9 May 2025. Eureka will play against BOOM Esports at the week's opener. They will also close the week with a confrontation against current top of the leaderboard, Blacklist International.
