The Trailblazer also seems to be getting another new pet: the adorable bunny-looking creature Mem!
Honkai: Star Rail has revealed that the Trailblazer will be the second 5-star character to follow the Path of Remembrance releasing in version 3.0. When switched to the Path of Remembrance, the Trailblazer will also wield the Ice element. This will mark the fourth Path-element combination that the Trailblazer will be able to switch to after Destruction-Physical, Preservation-Fire, and Harmony-Imaginary.
Honkai: Star Rail initially revealed that the Path of Remembrance will soon become playable with the introduction of Aglaea as the game’s first 5-star Remembrance character. The 5-star Ice Erudition character The Herta will also be released in version 3.0.
While developer HoYoverse has yet to reveal any details on which gameplay role or archetype the Remembrance Path will represent, the Remembrance Trailblazer’s reveal gives us some big clues.
Most noticeable is the presence of a companion in ‘Mem’, an adorable, pink-haired bunny-looking creature that will accompany them in travelling and adventuring through Amphoreus. Aglaea’s splash art also prominently shows her companions, which appear to be a group of mannequins. From that, we can assume that the Path of Remembrance will feature characters who make use of Summons in battle.
In Honkai: Star Rail, Summons are entities associated with certain characters, and are treated as separate units in the action order on the top-left side of the screen during battles. There are already three existing characters with Summons, namely Topaz with Numby, Jing Yuan with his Lightning-Lord, and Lingsha with Fuyuan.
Of course, we can only speculate on these details for now, until HoYoverse officially shares more information on the upcoming Path of Remembrance. Perhaps we can look forward to some news in the version 2.7 preview livestream being held on Friday?
Honkai: Star Rail's most recent update was Version 2.6, which was released on October 23 featuring a new 5-star character in Rappa, a new Trailblaze Continuance Mission that sees the Astral Express Crew return to Penacony, a new Simulated Universe game mode, and more. Currently, the version update is in its second half, with Acheron and Aventurine running alongside each other in a dual rerun banner.
Following Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 is Version 2.7 in December, which will feature the release of two highly-anticipated 5-star characters in Sunday and Tingyun's ‘Fugue’ form. The preview livestream for Version 2.7 is set to premiere this Friday (November 22), and is expected to reveal upcoming content for both Version 2.7 and Version 3.0.
Trailblazers can expect an upcoming major update to Honkai: Star Rail in 2025 with version 3.0, which will introduce the new planet Amphoreus alongside a host of new characters, content, and other additional features.
