Following the success of the first season, the Betway Dota 2 Asia League will again be featuring a three-stage format where qualified teams will join six of the bigger names in the region in the Final Stage to fight for the lion's share of the $20,000 prize pool.
The closed qualifiers will begin today on July 23rd with eight invited teams - iG.Vitality, Eclipse, Neon Esports, Revenge Gaming, Hero Gaming, Team Sincere, Reality Rift, Aurora Esports Club.
Two teams will qualify for the Main Stage starting July 30th, joining Adroit, 469 Gaming and four other teams to be announced.
Only four will advance to the Final Stage taking place beginning August 4th.

- Eight teams (6 invited, 2 qualified)
- Two groups of four teams
- GSL format
- Ten best-of-three matches
- Four teams (two from each group) advance to the Final Stage
Final Stage
- August 4-7th
- Four teams
- Double Elimination format
- Five best-of-three matches
- Grand Finals best-of-five series
