After a day break, the playoffs of the DreamLeague Season 11 Stockholm Major resumed as ViCi Gaming and Fnatic advance.
The third Major of the DPC season returned to play in front of a live audience at Annexet, Stockholm. The day was filled with two upper bracket series only at DreamLeague Season 11 Major.
ViCi Gaming was able to accomplish an impressive feat, upsetting and overpowering PSG.LGD 2:1. Although LGD had destroyed ViCi Gaming in the first game, the StarLadder ImbaTV Minor winners didn't let that ruffle their feathers. They fought hard in the second match, filled with swings and turns, eventually tying up the series. In the deciding game, fueled by their momentum and renewed strength, they overpowered LGD in a very convincing game that lasted only 28 minutes. From Minor champions to top 3 at the major, ViCi Gaming will acquire enough points to shoot them up to the top 5 in the DPC rankings.
Fnatic dismantled Keen Gaming in their first encounter of the series and then came back with an overwhelming one-sided victory to close out the series with a tidy 2:0 sweep. Fnatic has had a more than impressive run at the event and is now primed to be a real front contender for the title with a top 3 place secured.
The action resumes later today, March 23rd at 10:30 CET with the lower bracket elimination series between Team Secret and Keen Gaming. There will be four series today, three of which will send teams home and one will determine the first grand finalist of the event.
